Yelp / Senior Product Designer

I lead the design of the brand-new mobile app homepage experience for both iOS and Android. I focus on building a new homepage feed that empowers users to discover great local businesses through user recommendations.

I’ve created a robust UI framework to accommodate diverse content types, including user-generated content, Yelp-curated content, and ad systems. I oversee the work of multiple designers contributing to expanding content variety, ensuring design consistency and maintaining high-quality outcomes.

I also co-led user research with the UX research team to uncover insights into discovery behaviours, informing both near-term and long-term opportunities, north-star product vision designs, and product strategies.
